Sayed Family 2016 0017

I was born in India and moved to the US 24 years ago. I am a seasoned IT professional with over 15 years of experience in the technology industry. I earned my Master’s degree in Management Information Systems and built a successful career by combining technical expertise with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Beyond my professional accomplishments, I have always been deeply committed to serving my community. Over the years, I have led and supported numerous nonprofit initiatives focused on raising funds and awareness for individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, women’s shelters, and other vulnerable populations. Serving others has always been a meaningful part of who I am.

As a devoted mother of three children – two sons and a daughter – I have worked to instill in my family the values of kindness, empathy, and respect for others. Caring for parents, grandparents, elders, and extended family members has always been a cornerstone of our family values.

Entrepreneurship has also been an important part of my journey. I have successfully launched and operated several small businesses, including Resh’s Kitchen and Catering and Bollyfit Masti, a dance and fitness program that combined culture, wellness, and “Mommy & Me” classes for children. I also founded the SCV Acts of Kindness volunteer group, which has supported numerous nonprofit organizations throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. In addition, I enjoy expressing my creativity through oil painting, a passion I inherited from my mother.

Over the past decade, my husband I have had the privilege of caring for our own parents and in-laws with compassion, patience, and respect. Through years of personally supporting our elders – emotionally, physically, and socially—we witnessed firsthand the challenges many seniors face, especially those living alone or needing daily companionship and attentive care.

As we reflected on those experiences, we realized something deeply personal was missing – high-quality, compassionate care for the elderly within our own community. We saw parents, grandparents, and elders who had spent their lives sacrificing for their families, yet did not always receive the support and dignity they deserved during their most vulnerable years. We felt called to make a difference, and from that heartfelt realization, Amanah Senior Living was born.

Today, I am honored to serve families through Amanah Senior Living, which I operate alongside my husband. Together, we are committed to providing compassionate, dignified, and family-centered care that allows seniors to live with comfort, purpose, respect, and a true sense of belonging.

More than a care home, Amanah is our promise – an amanah, a sacred trust – to serve every family with sincerity, dignity, and warmth. It is a place where elders are cherished, every resident is treated like family, and the values that have guided our lives continue to shape every decision we make. Our mission is simple: to provide the same love, respect, and compassionate care that we would want for our own parents and loved ones.

Our Philosophy

Care that Honors. Service that Uplifts.

TRUST

We honor the responsibility families place in us. Every resident receives care rooted in empathy, respect, and transparency — because trust is the foundation of everything we do.

WELL-BEING

Beyond physical care, we focus on emotional and spiritual wellness. Whether through meaningful conversation, shared prayers, or thoughtful routines, we support the whole person.

FAMILY

Our small setting allows for genuine connections between residents, families, and staff. We build relationships, not just routines — because here, everyone matters.
