Reshma and Imran Syed, founders of Amanah Senior Living and lifelong RCFE specialists, have always viewed caregiving not as a profession but as a profound calling. More than a decade ago, they began their journey with a simple yet powerful mission: to uplift those who were overlooked, unheard, or in need of compassion.

Over the past decade, Imran and Reshma have devoted themselves to caring for their own parents and in-laws with unwavering compassion, patience, and respect. Through years of personally supporting their elders—emotionally, physically, and socially—they witnessed firsthand the challenges many seniors face, especially those living alone or requiring daily companionship and attentive care.

Yet one day, they realized something deeply personal was missing—care for the elderly in their own community. They saw parents, grandparents, and elders who had built families with sacrifice and love but did not always receive the support they deserved in their most vulnerable years. Reshma and Imran felt called to change that.

Amanah Senior Living was born from that heartfelt realization.

More than a care home, Amanah is their promise—an amanah, a sacred trust—to serve families with sincerity, dignity, and warmth. It is a place where elders are cherished, where every resident is treated like family, and where the values that shaped Reshma and Imran’s lives guide every decision made.

Their experience deepened their understanding of the importance of dignity, comfort, and meaningful human connection in the lives of older adults. They believe that elders deserve not only quality care, but also warmth, respect, and a sense of belonging during every stage of life.

Inspired by these values and driven by a genuine passion for serving seniors, Reshma and Imran decided to establish an Assisted Living business dedicated to creating a safe, caring, and family-like environment for elderly individuals.
