Reshma and Imran Syed, co-founders of Amanah Senior Living and lifelong RCFE specialists, caring for others has never been a profession—it has always been a calling. Over the years, they poured their hearts into countless acts of service—raising funds for orphaned children, offering comfort and gift baskets to women in domestic-violence shelters, partnering with local churches to feed the homeless on Skid Row every month, and delivering toys and clothing to refugee and low-income families. Reshma’s volunteer group, The Acts of Kindness, became a reflection of their shared belief that compassion is not an event, but a way of life.

Yet one day, they realized something deeply personal was missing—care for the elderly in their own community. They saw parents, grandparents, and elders who had built families with sacrifice and love but did not always receive the support they deserved in their most vulnerable years. Reshma and Imran felt called to change that.
